Role Purpose
We're looking for a star

Country Manager/Sales Director

to drive sales of both the Strikead Fusion and StrikeAd Engage products, helping to deliver performance and scale of our Global Mobile Ad Platform business.

Specifically, candidates will be responsible for generating revenues by negotiating a broad range of mobile advertising deals with top-tier advertising agencies & mobile specific planning & buying specialists. A consultative selling style is desired, coupled with the structure and organizational skills needed to drive a long sales cycle. Candidates must feel comfortable prospecting, and negotiating in person and via phone on both transactional and high value/exposure deals. An ability to identify, develop and manage a valuable prospect list based on the StrikeAd offerings is crucial. In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through, the ideal candidates will be self-motivated and highly goal-oriented in order to achieve ambitious targets.


Team/Department Mission
As part of the European Team you would report to the Head of EMEA Tim Finn and focus on European campaign delivery, agency deployment and product development


Key Accountabilities

  • Leading the development of major client mobile advertising accounts for the German market.
  • Acting as a strong subject matter expert and evangelist and contributing to market visibility through industry events
  • Business performance responsibilities:

   o    Driving to exceed mobile advertising P&L goals and path to profitability.
   o    Plan and execute strategies in partnership with operations to grow client and supply base effectively and profitably.
   o    Build and manage an active sales pipeline to ensure revenue targets are met
   o    Present and sell all StrikeAd products, including Engage and Fusion to market
   o    Grow and deepen the agency relationships and your understanding of the clients and industries they service
   o    Recruiting and building sales and account management teams as the demands of the business require

  • Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • The candidate should have an excellent track record and knowledge of digital advertising and/or mobile advertising to step into a key position accelerating StrikeAd’s mobile advertising business.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent business judgment and expertise in mobile advertising, online advertising, and/or mobile products and services. 
  • S/he will also have a strong track record of execution results, and the ability to lead key initiatives from incubation to scale. This is a high-impact, high-visibility opportunity to help build and scale a significant Global Business


1) Essential Experience
The ideal candidate should have media sales experience. S/he should have a deep understanding of online and mobile advertising products or other interactive media experience with an ideal emphasis on mobile and contacts at the major ad agency groups servicing the German market.

3) Special Requirements/Additional Information

  • Relevant online advertising sales experience - familiarity and knowledge of the media landscape is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to close sales and generate revenues
  • Working knowledge of both PowerPoint & Excel
  • Ability to interact at all levels and presenting both over the phone and in personFluency in English, French and German or at least a good grasp of the language


This is a demanding role and the candidate will need to work well under pressure and have the ability to manage his/her own work load as well as working as part of a team.
